Travel through the primary
Costa Rican
tropical jungle on
suspension cables
as you move through the
primary jungle
canopy with your bilingual
guides and
safety spotters from
platform to
platform. If our
high-tech, high-quality
equipment for zip-lining
turns out to be
“not your style”, then
relax and enjoy a
cold one back on the ground
as you
watch your fellow guests
zip line by line
to each canopy platform.
If you so
desire, take a leisurely
stroll or hike
through our secluded,
protected habitat
of the mono tit biological
corridor, which
is an excellent location
for you to explore
the exotic varieties of
plant and animal
life in the Costa Rican
mountainous
jungles near Manuel Antonio
National
Park.

Iguana Tours invites you to experience
white water rafting in Costa Rica – all
year long. Whether you want a
comfortable or even a high-octane
experience, we offer 2 unforgettable
river adventures to experience that
come with lots of “perks”.
For more experienced rafters, the
Naranjo
River runs from April
to
December and is a consistently
adrenaline-pumping Class III
and IV
wild ride. Our more family-friendly
Savegre River provides
Class II, III and
some rare IV rapids that
are more than
manageable. And of
course you can
expect that our
internationally trained,
bilingual guides and safety
kayakers
will expertly coach you
through
navigating either river.
Join
Iguana Tours on an unforgettable
white water rafting adventure
on the
Savegre or the Naranjo, or
maybe you
might have time to
experience both
during your visit to our
wildly exotic
country, Costa Rica.

If the high-octane adventure
of white
water rafting is not your
style or you are
just ready for a different
experience, why
not try one of Iguana Tours
four
completely different
open-seat kayak
adventures. On either
of our four
adventures, plan to spend
several
luxuriously indulgent hours
paddling
with the currents as your
highly-trained,
bilingual naturalist guides
reveal the
unforgettable plethora of
Costa Rica’s
tropical flora and fauna.
Paddle
comfortably as a family, a
couple, or an intimate group
either
under the shade of the
mangroves
during the day -- or have a completely
unique, safe
yet unforgettable
experience at night. If you want more
“perks” on your kayak adventure, try our
Coastal Paddle trip
that stops at
stunning Biezans Bay for snorkeling
and includes
unbelievable nature
spottings near Manuel
Antonio’s world-
class beaches.

Welcome to Manuel Antonio & Iguana Tours!
Iguana Tours was founded in 1989
to preserve our most treasured natural resource
in Costa Rica – Manuel Antonio Quepos area. Today the company’s objectives are
the same -- to preserve Costa Rica’s natural resources; to
actively engage the Quepos and Manuel Antonio community; to employ as many
locals as possible; to educate the community, staff and customers
to be better stewards of our tropical rain forest; and to promote
eco-tourism all over the world – one customer at a time. Bottom
line, we are "The Manuel Antonio Specialist".
Iguana Tours allows
individuals, families, and large groups to discover the true
adventures tours and exotic treasures of a beautiful land we all so
desperately strive to preserve – every day, on every tour, and
through every one who shares with us the
Iguana Tours experience. And we are so fortunate to be
able to provide professional-grade, bilingual, customer-focused,
educational adventures that do just that.
From the Mangrove
Ecological Boat or Kayak Tour & Interactives, our High-Octane
White Water Rafting Adventures, Guided Hikes & Tutorials, Ocean &
River Kayaking, Horseback Riding & Botanical Experiences, Coral
Reef Snorkeling, Ecological Canopy Tours, only to name a few, day
or night -- ALL our Iguana Tours
are geared towards ecology, safety, stewardship, education,
adventure, and most of all, fun. As the locals say, “¡Pura Vida!”
Let us show you our
country. But bottom line, we don’t want you to just have
safe, educational, fun, unforgettable adventures – we want you to
come back as well.
