Iguana Tours has introduced a compelling new excursion! We've noticed that some our visitors, who are hardcore-hiking enthusiasts, aren't quite satisfied with just visiting Manuel Antonio National Park. Well, we know of a wonderful place that's just as full of life as the Park, that is near Quepos city, and that can provide you with the level of adventure you're looking for!

Our ecologically and educationally focused hiking experience is geared towards a mix of adventure, education, nature, and ecology. This tour is excellent for individuals and large groups of nature lovers, especially birdwatchers. People of all ages can enjoy this adventure because of its unique and engaging biodiversity.

Your bilingual nature guide will lead you through partly shaded paths carved directly out of the primary Costa Rican tropical jungle. Explore the exotic plants and wildlife of the mountainous jungle near the Manuel Antonio National Park. This is a very personalized and therapeutic experience. Enjoy swimming in one of the pristine, cool water, natural pools along the trail.

If you feel inclined to do so, take a leisurely stroll or hike through our secluded, protected habitat. It’s an excellent location for you to discover the delicate balance between preservation and eco-tourism. We hope this tour inspires you to share this experience with others when you return home.

The pace of this adventure is determined by your skills and interests, and you will frequently stop to view wildlife in its natural habitat. Watch several species of animals, hunt for nocturnal silky anteaters and several types of non-poisonous snakes resting in the tropical rain forest. Listen to the songs of the various birds as they curiously glide above your group looking for adventure.

This dual Canopy Tour and Ecological Rain Forest Nature Hike can be arranged in advance for a special package price by your Iguana Tours staff.

Come for the experience, stay for the adventure, and sample one of the jewels of Costa Rica. We have many openings for you to taste the experience of our bio-diverse jungle environment – all you need to do is tell us when.

We offer 1 time slot for this tour: 7:30 am, and the tour lasts until lunchtime, at around 1:00pm.

As we provide transportation to and from the Manuel Antonio area as part of the tour fee, when booking make sure to let us know where you'll be located that day, and we'll come pick you up!
