This journey takes you into the stunning and exclusive landscape in the countryside and forests of Tocori ,where we will find and enjoy nature’s beautiful designs, including a waterfall. Your journey starts when our experienced nature guide picks you up at your lodging. Enjoy learning about Costa Rica’s exotic plants, rare wildlife, history, and culture as you ride through the tropical jungle and private ecological reserve at Tocori, just a short ride away from Manuel Antonio. You will be taken to a small authentic Costa Rican ranch, where people live in harmony with nature, taking care of the animals, including the horses you will be riding.

These are well-trained Costa Rican horses, which are steady on their feet, responsive and perfectly adjusted for tropical climate. Your experienced equestrian guide will give you all the instructions and equipment needed for the riding part of the tour and take care of you from beginning to end.

No matter if it’s your first time or if you’re an experienced rider, this experience won’t leave you out in the cold. We will ride at an easy pace through the countryside surrounded by a primary forest, unmodified by humans. It’s a perfect place to spot wildlife that has been living in peace in these woods for centuries.

Take in the lush scenery with streams and diverse flora and fauna and the sounds of the wildlife around you while your horse guides you towards one of the highlights of our tour: a picturesque waterfall, where you will be able to relax and take a dip into the pristine waters. Enjoy the snacks and drinking water provided in this secluded and undisturbed area, sheltered by trees. When you are ready for lunch we ride back to the ranch where you will enjoy a typical home cooked Costa Rican meal surrounded by the beautiful scenery, before heading back to town.

We offer 2 time slots for this tour: 8:00 am, and 1:00 pm, and the tour duration should be around 4 hrs

As we provide transportation to and from the Manuel Antonio area as part of the tour fee, when booking make sure to let us know where you'll be located that day, and we'll come pick you up!
